Wallpapers & Downloads
How do I download a wallpaper?#
Open the wallpaper you like, then tap the download (save) button. Walli saves the image to your device so you can set it as your wallpaper or keep it for later.
A few tips:
- Make sure you have a working internet connection while the download runs.
- Some high-resolution or exclusive wallpapers may require Premium.
- If a download keeps failing, check your storage space, then update and restart the app.
How do I set a wallpaper on my iPhone?#
First download the wallpaper in Walli so it's saved to your device, then set it from iOS:
- Open the Photos app and find the image (usually in Recents or your Albums).
- Tap the share button, then choose Use as Wallpaper.
- Adjust the position and zoom, then tap Set.
- Choose Lock Screen, Home Screen, or Both.
If Walli offers an in-app Set button, you can also tap that and follow the prompts. Exact steps can vary slightly by iOS version.
How do I set a wallpaper on my Android phone?#
After downloading the wallpaper, you can set it a couple of ways:
- From Walli: open the wallpaper and tap Set (or Apply), then choose Home screen, Lock screen, or Both.
- From your gallery: open the saved image, tap the menu, and choose Set as wallpaper.
Steps and menu names vary by device and Android version, so look for the Set as wallpaper option in whichever app you're using.
Do you have live or depth-effect wallpapers, and how do they work?#
Availability of live, motion, or depth-effect wallpapers depends on your app version and your device's support for those features.
- Live / motion wallpapers animate on your screen; on iPhone, Live wallpapers typically animate on the Lock Screen when you press and hold.
- Depth-effect styles let the subject overlap the clock on supported phones, set up in your device's wallpaper settings.
If your device or OS version doesn't support a given effect, the wallpaper will simply appear as a still image. For best results, keep both Walli and your operating system updated.
Where are my downloaded wallpapers saved?#
Downloaded wallpapers are saved to your device's photo storage so you can use them anytime.
- iPhone: look in the Photos app, usually under Recents or a Walli album.
- Android: look in your Gallery or Files app, often in a Pictures or Download folder.
If you can't find a download, make sure you granted Walli permission to save photos, then try downloading again.
Subscriptions & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?#
Your Premium subscription is billed by Apple or Google, so you cancel it in the store where you signed up. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Walli, then tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also go straight to your Apple subscriptions.
On Android
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Walli, then tap Cancel subscription.
You can also open your Google Play subscriptions.
I was charged after my free trial. What happened?#
Free trials convert into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends — this is how Apple and Google handle trials.
To avoid a future charge, cancel before the trial period ends:
- iOS: manage your subscriptions
- Android: manage your subscriptions
If you believe you were charged in error, you can request a refund directly from the store using the links above.
How do I restore my purchases?#
If you reinstalled Walli, switched devices, or aren't seeing your Premium benefits, restoring purchases re-syncs them.
- Make sure you're signed in with the same store account (Apple ID or Google account) used for the purchase.
- Open Walli's Settings or Premium screen.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
If your purchase still doesn't appear, update Walli, restart the app and your device, then tap Restore Purchases once more while signed in to the correct store account.
How do I manage or change my plan?#
Since billing is handled by the store, you manage or switch plans there:
- iOS: open your Apple subscriptions, select Walli, and choose a different option if one is available.
- Android: open your Google Play subscriptions, select Walli, and update your plan.
Any plan change follows the store's terms, and the price shown at checkout is the one that applies.
Refunds
What is your refund policy?#
Walli purchases and subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google, so we can't directly issue refunds — Apple and Google control them.
- Subscriptions are generally not refunded for buyer's remorse, and consumable purchases are final.
- You can request a refund directly from the store:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google's refund request page
If you ran into a genuine billing error (like a double charge or being charged after cancelling), email us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.
I was charged for a free trial I forgot to cancel. Can I get my money back?#
We understand — this happens. Because the charge was processed by the store, the refund decision is theirs to make, and we can't guarantee one.
You can request a refund here:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google's refund request page
To avoid future charges, remember to cancel a trial before it ends.
I bought something by accident. What should I do?#
For an accidental purchase, the fastest path is to request a refund from the store that processed it:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google's refund request page
Keep in mind that consumable purchases are final, so approval is up to Apple or Google.
I was charged twice. How do I fix it?#
A double charge is a billing error we want to help sort out. First, check whether one charge is just a temporary authorization that will drop off, or whether it's tied to two different store accounts.
If you confirm two real charges for the same thing:
- Request a refund for the duplicate from the store — Apple or Google Play.
- Email [email protected] with your purchase details so we can assist.
Licensing & Content
Can I use a Walli wallpaper commercially?#
Wallpapers in Walli are provided for personal use only — for example, setting them as the background on your own devices.
Commercial use, resale, or redistribution isn't permitted. That includes using a wallpaper in products, advertising, merchandise, or anything you sell or distribute. Artists retain the rights to their work, so any use beyond personal use would need permission from the artist.
Who owns the artwork and copyright?#
The artists retain the rights to the wallpapers featured in Walli. Downloading a wallpaper gives you permission to use it personally on your own devices — it does not transfer ownership or copyright to you.
Because of this, please don't redistribute, resell, or use the artwork commercially. Any use beyond personal use would need permission from the artist who holds the rights.
How do I report content or request removal of my work?#
We take content concerns seriously. If you'd like to report a wallpaper, or you're an artist requesting the removal of your work, email us at [email protected].
To help us act quickly, please include:
- A link to or screenshot of the specific wallpaper.
- The reason for your report or removal request.
- If it's your work, any details that help confirm you're the rights holder.
We'll review and follow up with you.
Account & Data
Do I need an account to use Walli?#
You can browse, download, and set wallpapers without creating a traditional account.
If your app version offers sign-in, it's mainly there to help sync your purchases and Premium benefits across devices. To learn what data we collect and how it's handled, see our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account or my data?#
We honor data deletion requests, including those under privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.
To request deletion of your account or personal data, email us at [email protected] from the address associated with your use of the app, and let us know what you'd like removed. We'll process your request in line with applicable privacy laws.
For full details on what we collect and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
Please note that deleting your data won't refund any purchases — subscriptions are handled separately through the App Store or Google Play.
Troubleshooting
The wallpaper won't apply or set. What should I do?#
If a wallpaper won't set, try these steps:
- Make sure the wallpaper finished downloading to your device first.
- Check that Walli has permission to access your photos.
- Try setting it directly from your device's Photos / Gallery app instead.
- Update Walli and restart your phone, then try again.
Steps for applying a wallpaper vary by device and OS version, so look for the Set as wallpaper option in whichever app you're using.
The wallpaper looks blurry or zoomed-in. How do I fix it?#
This usually comes down to how the image fits your screen rather than the wallpaper quality.
- When setting the wallpaper, pinch to zoom out so the full image fits and isn't cropped.
- Check for a Perspective Zoom or motion setting and turn it off if you don't want the image to shift and crop.
- Choose a wallpaper that matches or exceeds your screen resolution — HD options look sharpest.
- Make sure the download completed fully over a stable connection.
A download keeps failing. What can I do?#
Downloads usually fail because of connection, storage, or permission issues. Try this:
- Confirm you have a stable internet connection.
- Check that your device has enough free storage.
- Make sure Walli has permission to save photos.
- Update the app, then close and reopen it.
- Restart your device and try the download again.
